Sleep in the Pink This October With These Hotels

Everyone gets psyched for October to celebrate Halloween, but there's another cause to rally around this month. Don't get us wrong, we love getting dressed up and hitting the parties, but breast cancer awareness is something that needs our attention. A lot of hotels feel the same way and are marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a slew of specials and activities to raise funds for the cause.

Find out how hotels are commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness Month after the jump.

Mandarin Oriental, New York
Buy one of the spa's Spa for a Year Life Long tokens for $50 and you'll be entered in a drawing to win a signature spa treatment once a month for a year. Purchase three tokens and the spa will throw in a free Swarovski bracelet made of Aurora Borealis crystals. Token sales benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

W Hotels
Atlanta's four W Hotels will throw pink-themed shindigs. For example, on October 12 the W Perimeter will screen—what else?—Pretty in Pink and offer a ThinksPink menu that includes rosy-hued popcorn balls, cucumber maki rolls and cupcake flights to raise funds. And all four will sell pink "Wollipops" at the front desk for $2. Proceeds will aid the Young Survival Coalition.

Marrakech Hotel
There's a ton of ways you can go pink here: Book a night in the bathed-in-pink hotel's Pink Awareness Room, drink a Cause-mopolitan at the bar or donate $100 or more and get a 10 percent discount on a future stay. Bonus: If you donate some dough, the CEO will match it. Proceeds go to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

Hyatt Regency Newport
The Hyatt's Stillwater Spa will throw a Pink Martini Night on October 15 that is all about pampering you. For $20, you'll get tipsy on pink martinis (strawberry vodka, crème de cacao, strawberry puree, Coco Lopez and Bailey’s), a bra fitting, a chair massage, spa mini-treatments, a spa bag and make-up touch-ups. Your Jackson will go to the American Cancer Society.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach
This month, the hotel's Gotham Steak, Hakkasan and Scarpetta restaurants feature special $39 three-course prix-fixe menus. If you're less of a foodie and more of a drinker, head to one of the bars and order the $10 Pinkie Promise cocktail—Ciroc Red Berry, rock candy, lemon sour and fresh raspberries. The eats and drink benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The Peninsula Beverly Hills
If you want a more refined event, try high tea. The Pen swaps its usual afternoon Victorian tea for a Pink Tea. As part of the $55 tea, you get a five-course menu, a glass of pink bubby, a cap cake to take home and a $50 Tory Burch gift card. Proceeds go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
