The Spa Chatwal By Kashwére Is Now Open

Actually, this luxurious little hideaway downstairs at The Chatwal New York has been open for just over a month, but this is the first time the hotel has released a photo of the space.

Pictured above is the relaxation area, and as you can see the designers have gone out of their way to make you forget that you're in a hotel basement just a stone's throw away from Times Square.

After seeing the attention to detail in the rooms, lobby, restaurant and bar, we're not surprised that Spa Chatwal By Kashwére is just as lush looking.

Open to members of the public as well as guests, the spa offers a range of high-end massages, body treatments, facials, and other services including waxing, manicures and pedicures. Rather than herd spa guests into one big locker room, here there are three private changing suites, each with their own steam showers and amenities.

As you would expect, this kind of luxe treatment doesn't come cheap. Facials and treatments average around $200, and the Chatwal Classic Manicure and Pedicure is $90.

Spa Chatwal is open Monday–Saturday 8:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m. and Sundays 9:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
