You know how yesterday we were saying that the Killer Views followed us everywhere at Kamalame Cay in the Bahamas? Well, we weren't kidding. Even when we were face down on a massage table, those persistent picturesque views just wouldn't quit. That's because the Overwater Spa at Kamalame has windows in the floor so you can gaze into the ocean while you're getting a treatment.

We know. Insane, right? We're a little obsessed with Overwater Bungalows and love that we don't have to travel as far as Tahiti or the Maldives to enjoy them.

Like the vibe of the rest of the property, the just-refurbished spa at Kamalame is super laidback and relaxing. There is a refreshing lack of check-in and locker room procedure--you simply arrive, are greeted by your therapist, and enter your treatment room with the windows open to the ocean breeze.

The spa menu is simple but offers the kinds of treatments you look for at the beach--botanical wraps, salt scrubs, massages, and sun-repair facials. The treatments are all reasonably priced, too. A 30-minute facial is $60, a 60-minute Kamalame Massage is $140, and the Body Melt Scalp Therapy--25 minutes of head-tingling bliss--is just $45.

Since Kamalame is drop-dead romantic, there is also a Couples Delight massage for $210 per person.

Products are now all by Naturopathica (although nail color is by Essie) and to celebrate this new partnership and the new-look spa, Kamalame is offering 10% off accommodations--and one complimentary spa treatment per person--through January 2011. This is for new, direct bookings only. You just have to mention 'Naturopathica' to snag the discount.

Just remember--don't let your massage here send you to sleep. Each time we started to nod off during our massage, we snapped our eyes back open and told ourselves: 'Must. Stay. Awake. Staring at the ocean here!'

Oh, and we didn't see any sea creatures swim beneath us but we've been told it happens!

[Full Disclosure: MsRebecca stayed at Kamalame Cay while on assignment for an Australian publication but all opinions expressed here are her own.]
