The W Hollywood Gets a Touch Delayed, Again

The last time we checked in with the W Hollywood, the opening date was set for January 15 but that has been pushed back yet again. Fortunately, it's only by two weeks.

The hotel's website now says Thursday, January 28. But will it open that day? We can't be sure as we were unable to make a reservation for that date.

We sincerely hoped that this hotel would be open in time for the all-important awards season. But with the Golden Globes to be held on January 17, it looks like the W will only be able to party for The Grammys (January 31) and The Oscars (March 7).

We never thought we would say this but thank God for the Oscars as you can actually book a room then. Rates the weekend of the awards show start at $359 a night for a king bedroom.
