On whole, whatever is left here is very disappointing. If anything, it shows just how badly the hotel was in need of a makeover. Most of the furniture that's left is very worn down. We can't imagine what it was like checking into this exclusive hotel and seeing dinged up furniture. We actually think that whatever is left now is stuff that the Bel-Air had in storage for a while. It's all so very old.
And the prices are a bit steep. $225 for a banged up country wood armoire with a sloppy hole cut in the back to make way for a TV? Also, who is going to buy a box of old toiletries, shoddy dishware or um, female sanitary napkins? Why not just give that stuff to the homeless shelters instead.
As far as buying anything with the Hotel Bel-Air logo, we found only two items--an old phone and a desk guard which was mighty tempting. Also, housekeeping uniforms are only a dollar and we just may have found our Halloween costume for next year. (We're not going as a slutty maid, we're gonna keep it as realistic as possible.)
Anyways, should you want to see it for your self, the liquidation is happening every day from 10am to 7pm until everything is sold.
