The Hard Rock San Diego's suites don't come with cowboy hats, lingerie or heels, but you can get one with a whipped cream bikini.

Hotels go all out for Valentine's Day, trying gimmicks that range from the super-sexy to some real head-scratchers. We rounded up some of the more unusual hotel V-Day offerings, everything from a not-so-romantic getaway with your pooch to a Singles Awareness Day celebration to a whipped cream bikini treat.

Check after the jump to see these downright cheesey Valentine's Day deals.

· Buckingham Hotel
Those flying solo this holiday can take advantage of the New York City hotel's Un-Valentine's Day special, where for $205 a night with a two-evening minimum, you'll get admission to the Valentine’s Day Ball at the Hudson Terrace. There you can gorge on chocolate-covered strawberries and Champagne, and hopefully find a hook-up. The anti-holiday package is available February 11 to 28.

· Shorebreak Hotel
Instead of spending V-Day with Ben & Jerry, celebrate Singles Awareness Day at this Huntington Beach hotel. The SAD package includes a singles hour with wine and board games, dinner for one at Zimzala at a communal table, and either a bottle of bubbly or a shot of Jack to get rid of any lingering heartbreak. The deal is good February 12 to 14 and starts at $199 a night.

· Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles
Choose your V-Day experience with the For Love or Money package. Pick "Love" if you are staying the night with your valentine and want truffles, pink Champagne and a late checkout. But go for "Money" if you're alone and would rather upgrade to a junior suite or to the Club Level, which gives you access to the Club Lounge with breakfast and afternoon noshes that you won't have to share. Rates start at $179 a night. The package is good through February.

· The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong
Forget Champagne on V-Day. Opt for rose petal tea at the Landmark instead. On February 13 and 14, the hotel offers Romeo and Juliet's Afternoon Tea, where you can pig out on scones, finger sandwiches, pastries, chocolate fountain goodies and a cupcake buffet—nothing will get you going more than all-you-can-eat cupcakes. If you alkies must have some some alcohol, pink bubbly is also on the menu. The tea costs HKD 190, or HKD 260 for a couple. The pink Champagne option is HKD 800 for two.

· Vero Beach Hotel & Spa
Kimpton sent us a press release for this package with a headline that says, "Menage a Paw," which makes it sound like some kind of bizarre bestiality event. But really, the Pooch n' Smooch package allows you to bring your pet for something akin to a family vacay, where you'll get a dog park picnic with a basket that includes a blanket; two wine spritzers; treats for mom, dad and dog; a ball; water and a collapsible dog bowl. The family package starts at $368 per night during Valentine’s Day weekend. You can also choose to have a beachside photo shoot for with your pet for an extra $75. How, um, romantic.

· Hard Rock San Diego
If you want to spend the day under the covers, the Hard Rock's Rock 'N' Romance deal will get you a suite upgrade (based on availability), a naughty or nice in-room movie, and a whipped cream bikini kit that includes Champagne, strawberries and the whipped topping. The package starts at $232 and is available Valentine's Day weekend.
