We are suckers for a room with a killer view.  We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. We will feature our favorites in this space from time to time. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number of the hot view.

This week we're going easy on the continental U.S. and looking abroad for anti-views (found in London) and killer views like this one from Hotel Niagara in Parapat, Indonesia.

Submitted by Flickr member Ableimes, the room view at this hotel is of the expansive Lake Toba which is the largest lake in Southeast Asia. Aside from the lakeside activities offered here, the hotel offers horse-riding, basketball, tennis, swimming pool (pictured) and even a jogging track. What's also cool is that Lake Toba is accessible to many smaller islands and peninsulas that surround it. Plus when you get back to the hotel at night you can hit up the Highway Discotheque and Karaoke for some entertainment.

Rooms in the low season start at an incredibly low price of $55 USD a night. At those prices you could upgrade to the top room category of bungalow for only $333 USD a night. And don't worry, the WiFi is free.
