UPDATED BELOW Expect more of this downstairs in the basement at The Hudson Hotel.

Is the Hudson Hotel getting some new subterranean party space? According to Page Six, yes.

Word is that the Hudson Hotel's new Good Units will be up and running in time for Fashion Week next month for a party hosted by Susanne Bartsch. Over the weekend, DJ Mark Ronson, jewelry designer and actor Waris Ahluwalia, legendary runway model Pat Cleveland and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Julie Henderson were among those who took part in a photo shoot at the space put on by designer Patricia Field.

Eater also says that the space will replace the old hotel gym and will be used for "hosting fashion shows, after parties, performances exhibitions." Hmmm...we guess Morgans is putting all their energy opening up this fashionista lair instead of working on the Mondrian Soho which has been moved back to a Fall opening.

Anyone have more scoop on Good Units? Or maybe even photos? Let us know.

UPDATE: We hear the space was designed by Robert McKinley who also designed The Surf Lodge in the Hamptons and the nightclub, Goldbar. Interesting.

UPDATE, 2.10.10: Interview Magazine flaunted its Apple iPad capabilities in Good Units on Tuesday night.
