The Funky Curtis Hotel in Denver is Now a Doubletree

Doubletree Hotels continues to snap up cool boutiquey properties with its latest acquisition of The Curtis Hotel in Denver. We already love this hotel for its quirky theme rooms and packages and now it looks as if you can get free chocolate chip cookies there too.

According to the announcement, the hotel will now go by the name "The Curtis--a Doubletree Hotel." You know how we feel about tacking the name Doubeltree onto these cool properties (like theWIT and The Artic Club) but as long as the hotel keeps its identity (like the scary 13th Floor) and fun promotions, we guess we can rest easy.

And it doesn't hurt that guests can now use their HHonors points here. Hmm...this is definitely a trend.
