Where Saints and Colts Fans Can Find Last-Minute Super Bowl Hotel Rooms

January 24, 2010 at 11:51 PM | by | Comments (2)

Now that the N.F.C. and A.F.C. Champions have been decided (congrats to The Saints and The Colts), you really want to go to the Super Bowl, right? But with just two weeks until the big game, are there any hotel rooms left in Miami? Why, yes! Here are three Super Bowl packages for the last-minute football fan heading south.

Jetsetter
The private-sale travel site announced a super package just days before Championship Weekend, and the sale opened at noon EST on Sunday. There are four different levels available, depending on the game tickets you want. All four include three nights at the The Standard but only the most expensive package includes two tickets to the Playboy Super Bowl party at the Sagamore.

These packages are expensive starting at $2,167 for the Mezzanine Level package which includes two mezz level tickets to the Big Game for a total of $6,501. The Club Level & Parties is $19,500. Yup, partying with Playmates is not cheap.

The sale ends on Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST. You need to be a Jetsetter member to purchase, but you can sign up here.

Christian Concepcion tipped us off that this downtown hotel still had availability for the Super Bowl. There is a four-night minimum (pretty standard across town) and the rate is non-refundable and must be prepaid. It starts at $699 a night for a Cityview King, and the promo code is SUPER.

The Big Game Rooms
This tour package specialist is offering bundles that include hotel accommodations plus game tickets and transportation, or a Hotels Only deal, all for a four-night stay (Feb 4–8).

The game package starts at $3,699 per person at the Shelborne Beach Resort, $4,699 per person at The Ritz Carlton South Beach, or $4,199 per person at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami. (These are all for triple occupancy. Double and single occupancy also available for higher rates.)

The room-only rates sart at $399 a night at the Shelborne, and $879 a night at the Ritz Carlton. (None listed for The Four Seasons.)

Sure, these packages may represent a couple of months' rent, but seeing your team in the Super Bowl is priceless, no? At least until the credit card bill arrives.
