The Bangles Burn 'An Eternal Flame' for Pinktober at The Hard Rock

It's always good to see The Bangles are still out there performing their greatest hits from our pre-adolescence. It's even better to see The Bangles performing for such a good cause like Pinktober at the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando.

Pinktober is the Hard Rock's month-long breast cancer awareness program where guests can book special guestrooms that are outfitted with pink sheets (embroidered with little guitars) and pink bathrobes. Twenty-five percent of the room rate will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Since there are only five guest rooms at each Hard Rock hotel (Biloxi, Chicago, Hollywood FLA., Orlando, San Diego, Tampa) that will have the special sheets and robes, availability may be limited. But the Hard Rock will also be selling the special sheet set and the pink robes in their Hard Rock Shop with 15 percent of sales benefiting the BCRF.

Other Hard Rock/Pinktober gear can be bought online online and include a pink guitar ribbon pin, a black leather vest with a pink crystallized ribbon on the back and a Pinktober keychain. Pinktober events will also include live music and events throughout the month with such performers like Melissa Etheridge, Joss Stone, Melanie C of the Spice Girls and even Bonnie Tyler of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" fame. Rock out ladies!
