We know, we know, you’ve probably all had enough of Kayne West by now, what with the news that “I’ma Let You Finish T-shirts” are now on sale. But the star of this little tale is actually his lady friend, Amber Rose.

The set? The Hotel on Rivington. The Ford Model and the Lower East Side hotel both appear in a fashion spread in the latest issue of ELLE, although the chicks over at Jezebel were dismayed that the shoot was “asinine” and “ass-centric.”

Aside from this shot of Amber reclining on a bed, you can’t see a whole lot of the hotel in the photos, although the view does look pretty if you can divert your eyes from Amber’s derriere for just a second.

We hadn’t heard much goss about THOR for a little while, but we wonder if this shoot had something to do with The Standard’s dominance of all things hotel-room-sexy in New York. Remember, Thor was the original kinky voyeurism hotel before the Standard and Cooper Square were even conceived. But as of late, the newer hotels have grabbed all the panty-droppers headlines.

The Standard had Bruce and Emma Willis getting all kinky for W magazine earlier this year, and then of course there’s the ongoing exhibitionism happening over the High Line.

Did all that attention send THOR into a fit of jealous rage over which hotel has the erotic-photo-shoot crown in this town? Or was it simply a case of photographer’s choice when it came to the Amber Rose location? Either way, there’s no denying that high-profile magazine spreads are a nifty way for hotels to get some ink.

Oh, and if you have a beef with the styling of this shoot, you know who to blame, right? His name begins with K …

i do have a beef with the styling!

Amber Rose always looks so awkward when she models. Like she's thinking "this is the way a model is supposed to look, right?" Whenever I see her I think back to olden days of America's Next Top Model (when the show wasn't boring) and how Tyra would teach about the thin line between looking alluring and looking too sexual (the real word here rhymes with plutty). AR's poses take it to the latter.
