The hotel makes the most of its location next to the House of Blues and throws in VIP access to the exclusive Foundation Room lounge in the concert venue. But you'd probably have to to be Flea to afford this package, which ranges from $2,500 to $10,000.
The Hard Rock Hotel tested its "Check In, Rock Out" program when Lollapalooza came to Chicago, and the hotel got such a good response that it's there to stay. Guests can choose from among 18 Gibson guitars, a mix of acoustic and electric (the hotel's working on getting a left-handed guitar for you southpaws). So you can borrow a Les Paul Custom guitar made out of mahogany with a hand-carved marble top for free and keep it for the duration of your stay. (Ed. Note: Hotel Preston, we told you guitars in-room were cool!)
And you won't have to worry about disturbing the neighbors, since it comes with headphones and Line 6 pods. If your only experience with an ax is playing Guitar Hero, the hotel can arrange for a private lesson with an outside company, Guitar Chicago. Rates start at $35 per half-hour.
