Happy Friday! You know what we like to talk about on Fridays at HotelChatter? Hotel Sex! So, just to get your all geared up for the weekend, we thought we'd share with you this semi-NSFW matchbook that we picked up this week from the restaurant of New York's Maritime Hotel.
Too bad we grabbed it during the hot pot party at the restaurant Matsuri and not at the Marc Jacobs x V Magazine x Belvedere Vodka shindig that took place in the hotel's Hiro ballroom last week—we have it on good authority that Lady Gaga's red lace outfit at that is just as semi-NSFW as the pictures on this matchbook.
It's actually quite a work of art, this matchbook; someone could use the matches all the way through without taking a closer look and thereby miss the brilliance of it. It's a sly snub at all the boring hotel matchbooks out there, and for this we had a miniscule moment of random appreciation for The Maritime.
