STK Finally Opening Inside The Gansevoort South With Coco de Ville To Follow

Mr. Chow at the W South Beach won the Miami Hotel Restaurant Race fair and square and by a mile but STK at the Gansevoort South is not to be forgotten.
The ONE Group just put out a press release today announcing the restaurant's opening "this fall." Here's what to expect, according to the press release:
A catwalk across the back bar delivers a dramatic production as guests ascend to the mezzanine level of the restaurant, and a glazed screen, spanning the double height space of the main atrium, depicts an abstract shape of a woman's body reflecting off the glass. Upstairs, a second dining room complete with a bar and private dining space overlooks the main area, allowing guests to discreetly observe the Miami social scene or be the center of it - whichever they choose.
The restaurant's fare will be in the hands of executive chef Todd Mark Miller and promises not to be "your daddy's steakhouse." Miami-inspired dishes will include Seared Big Eye Tuna, with roasted pineapple, habanero chili pepper and congri basmati rice, and Pork Mojo Cazuela, with citrus chili maduros and yuca. Guests can also get their fave NYC and LA dishes like Shrimp Rice Krispies, Foie Gras French Toast and Lil' Big Macs.
The ONE group also plans on opening the outpost of Coco de Ville, a "Hills"-frequented spot in Los Angeles, adjacent to the restaurant as well. But alas, no specific opening dates for either STK or Coco de Ville. Guess the crew of "Miami Social" will just have to be content with the rooftop for now.
