The hotel only has five suites, and each comes equipped with a queen-sized bed, kitchenette, spacious bathroom, and covered patios with ocean views…not to mention air-conditioning (thank goodness!). From what we can tell by looking at the photos, the rooms aren’t grand, but they look tidy and large…plus, with all the activities and natural splendor of the surrounding countryside, who’s going to sit in their room?

The hotel also has an infinity pool and whirlpool, a fire pit, a lounge and library, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and offers in-room spa treatments. The restaurant serves upscale international cuisine that takes advantage of native Nicaraguan ingredients like seafood, mango and papaya.
Guests can relax and let the hotel take care of everything, including transportation to and from the Managua Airport (3 hours away), San Juan del Sur, and various other points of interest in both Nicaragua and nearby Costa Rica. Yankee Beach is also known as a surfer destination, so the hotel is happy to arrange surfing excursions as well as deep-sea fishing and kayaking trips. After all, Nicaragua means “surrounded by water” (yeah, we looked it up), so you should take advantage of all there is to offer.
Now for the deal: on stays of three nights or more, rooms will go for just $150 a night until the end of 2009, and will include breakfast and free WiFi access throughout the hotel. However, since the hotel is so small, it’s also possible to rent the whole thing out à la Couples Retreat.
