As we near the Oct. 1 drop date on Orlando’s mammoth Hilton Bonnet Creek development, we thought we’d zoom in on what we know about arguably the most important element for guests—the rooms. Yes, all 1,000 of them.

Hilton Bonnet Creek will offer four room varieties, with deluxe rooms and three types of suites: parlor, presidential, and executive. Deluxe guest rooms are a whopping 414 square feet, which includes a seating area and marble bathroom. The marketing material also claims a “contemporary sophisticated décor,” but to be honest, that picture isn’t striking us as the most posh aesthetic we’ve ever seen. Contemporary, sure, but is anyone else a little dizzy from pattern overload, from the carpet to the curtains to the chair to the bedding? Yikes. (We like the trellis pillow though.)

Décor aside, these rooms are going to feel luxe — if for nothing else but sheer grandiosity. The parlor suite is 835 square feet and the executive suite is 1,255 square feet, both of which are bigger than our own digs, we might add. Meanwhile, the presidential suite is 2,870 square feet—a decent-size house, in our minds. Um, seriously.

Meanwhile, the hotel is offering a few introductory packages, including the Great Beginnings Package that offers a fourth night free, and if you stay five nights you can get a room upgrade. Rates start at $199. There’s also the Resort Credit Package, starting at $209, which includes accommodations and a $50 resort credit.
