This very well may be Rachel Ray's idea of hotel heaven.

We’ve been hooked on MANNI White Truffle Extra Virgin Olive Oil since we sat in on a demo at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen a few years ago. Then, Chef Ryan Hardy of Montagna at The Little Nell gave us two bottles to take home – one Per Mia Figlia (for my child) and one Per Me (for me) and it’s like liquid gold crack for foodies.

Now, the EVOO expert Armando Manni has extended his presence in the luxury lifestyle market with the opening of Casa MANNI Roma, an exclusive penthouse for two in a 17th-century palazzo in Via di Pietra, the heart of old Rome. And yes, MANNI is all caps.

This could be just another fancy five-star Italian pied-à-terre. But this not-so little 900-sq. ft. gem was completely designed and renovated by rock star architect Adam D. Tihany, the man behind the illustrious wine tower at Aureole in Las Vegas, the interior at Per Se in New York and the restaurant and bar at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London.

After many years of being called on to play Julie the Cruise Director for his friend’s Roman travels, Manni wanted to create an authentic, insider-y experience for guests. He tapped into his Rolodex and called upon the finest A-List service providers in his life – chefs, tailors, historians, sommeliers, lifestyle and shopping experts. The penthouse comes equipped with a fully-stocked kitchen, a Tihany-tiled shower overlooking the Column of Marcus Aurelius, fresh flowers daily and warm cornets (croissants) and coffee each morning.

The result is a super-luxe experience that touts the amenities of a five-star property, coupled with the exclusivity of a private residence, which Manni touts as, "The ultimate experience of Rome and its lifestyle."

Well, a taste of living the Italian high life is gonna cost you a whole lotta Euros. The penthouse runs between 600 and 800 EUR per night or $882 – $1,177 USD (depending upon the season) with a two night minimum stay. (The third night is 20 percent off.) Breakfast is included. And we're assuming gratuitous amounts of EVOO are included too.
