All is right in our world again now that football season has officially kicked off. And while we’re still in the throes of scouting out our preferred 2009/10 season game day destinations, we’ve stumbled upon one Monday Night football promotion that sounds really delish. At BLVD 16 at the Hotel Palomar Westwood, Chef Simon Dolinky will be offering the "Home Field Advantage"every Monday Night during football season.

Okay. The name doesn’t exactly convey the coolness of this special, but for folks who want a little somethin’ somethin’ more inspired than you your standard deep fryer football fare, Dolinky is serving up appetizers and drink specials inspired by the game’s home team every Monday night during football season. Cool, right? We think so.

The offer includes a “six pack” of any six appetizers and drinks for $25. Here’s a sneak peek of what upcoming menus may include:
· San Diego Chargers – Fish Tacos, Margaritas and Stone Pale Ale
· Green Bay Packers - Duck Bratwurst with Homemade Sauerkraut and Lavender Mustard, Brandy Old Fashions and Simon Say’s what his favorite beer special is from Wisconsin (his hometown)
Miami Dolphins - Cubano Style Pork Sandwiches and Mojitos
· Oakland Raiders - Orange Braised Pork Carnitas Tacos with Avocado and Tomatillo Salsa and Silver and Black cocktail
· New England Patriots - Maine Lobster Rolls with Tarragon and Watercress and Late Summer Sam Adams Cooler
· Wanna make a night of it? We checked the hotel’s website for some Monday night rates and it looks like King Deluxe Rooms start at $164.
