Having spoken with a friend who's already seen hotel renderings, this Ritz location will deliver plenty of the over-the-top plush amenities we've come to expect from the brand. A preview of its exterior draws comparisons to The Shining's fictional Overlook Hotel, only without the horrific undertones.
We've already reported on some of the things you can expect once the bow is cut, like a 17,000-square-foot spa and fitness center and a restaurant by chef Traci des Jardins of San Francisco's Jardinière.
Adding to that list are fireplaces in every guest room and suite, water and woods-themed treatments at the spa, and Club Level service for high rollers who want private check-in and check-out and a concierge at their beck and call. So, you know, it's business as usual for the Ritz.
The hotel is taking reservations now, with rooms starting at $299 per night. Start saving, snow bunnies.
