The Hotel Preston's Chicken Pot Pie Impresses Our Contest Winner

Last month we sent someone to Nashville, with a tan, as part of the cool Dream Amenity contest that we did in partnership with the Hotel Preston. The winner was one Mike Nielsen of Los Angeles whose dream amenity suggestion was an in-room acoustic guitar which will be implemented by the hotel in the coming months.

Even though he only won a two nights stay, Mike and his girlfriend decided to stay an extra two nights and the Hotel Preston gave him a discounted rate of $79 a night. Sweet! And as we expected, Mike has nothing but great things to say about Hotel Preston. Here's his review:

So, as the winner of the amenity contest, I was very curious what I got myself into at the Hotel Preston in Nashville. Me and my girlfriend Erika had an amazing time. We won 2 free nights, but stayed a total of 4. The room was amazing. Really cool design, and had great black and white pictures of country music legends. The staff was awesome and extremely helpful.
For food and drink the Hotel Preston is awesome. The food at Cafe Isabella was phenomenal. A little sidenote, the chicken pot pie is the best thing on the menu. The Pink Slip bar was also fun. Especially when they serve 2 dollar beers until 8pm. We hung out by the pool and had a very relaxing time. It's only a few minutes drive to downtown Nashville, Opry Mills, and the airport.
They also have a bunch of fun things such as a pillow menu, and you can even order a goldfish for your room. I will definitely be back in the future.

Sadly, Mike didn't take any photos of the hotel during his stay. We wonder what that must be like. Every time we walk into a room that isn't our own bedroom, we feel the urge to whip out a camera. Sigh.
