Starwood Luxury Collection Teams Up With Choosey Social Network

Um, do you know what A Small World is? It's not just the horrific and nightmare-infiltrating ride at Disneyworld — it's also a private social network that people join by invitation only ("trusted and loyal ASW members who meet certain criteria have the privilege of inviting a limited number of their friends.") Oh, and the people in the network are "culturally influential." Right then.

In an effort to, uh, we suppose attract or appeal to more "culturally influential" people, the Starwood Luxury Collection has actually started collaborating with network, reports Luxist.

The hotel brand is providing ASW members with something called The Insider's View — which is, according to Luxist:

For ASW members...concierges will write articles around upcoming events -- such as Greece's Night of the Full Moon and London's Cartier International Polo Day -- that provide an insider's guide on how to have the perfect time. ASW members, whether hotel guests or not, can then interact directly with Collection concierges to get even more specific tips on where to go and what to do.

This is sort of an enhancement of what each property already does: a "cultural calendar" detailing events and happenings goin' down in and around the hotel.

We will wait patiently for our invite.
