We appreciate the millions of dollars that were spent on the recent reconstruction, but feel the money put into General Manager Chris Steuri’s three month R&D mission to develop the best possible beds was money well spent.
The bedding combination of natural fibers, goose and duck featherbed, and light and fluffy Anichini linens Egyptian cotton overlay made for a peaceful, uninterrupted night of sleep. We thought we’d be lonely without a top sheet, but Mr. Steuri deliberately omitted it in an effort to put as little as possible between the body and the feathers and create an optimal sleeping temperature.
And now for some pillow talk: think firm, but flexible and filled with more of that duck/goose feather combination. Lindsay Wagner can stick it with her Sleep Number bed; she ain’t got nothing on K`oa Kea.
Note: The writer was hosted by K`oa Kea for a two-night stay while on assignment for, appropriately enough, a destination wedding story.
