The barrage of hotel deals we've been coming across lately all remind us of one cold, hard fact: Summer is quickly coming to an end. That's bad news for fireworks and outdoor concerts, but very good news for prospective travelers. Capitalizing on the "last summer weekend" rush, many resorts and hotels are offering Labor Day deals that are giving us just the push we need to pack our bags and hop on a plane. Destination this time around: Parrot Cay & COMO Shambhala Retreat in Turks and Caicos.

This Labor Day discount offers three nights for the price of two in any room category, and is limited to new bookings from September 3rd to 8th. Included in the reservation are breakfast and return airport transfers (for commercially scheduled flights), and group Yoga and Pilates.

We did a little digging on the site to get more details on the deal; check in on September 3rd with a check-out date of September 6th yielded rates starting $690/night for a Garden View King room, while the Labor Day package prorates the fee to $460/night.

Not too shabby, especially when we're being sold on a getaway on a private island. Hey, if Parrot Cay is good enough for Bruce Willis, it's certainly good enough for us.
