So you wanna be a rock star? Just think, a few hours in The Recording Studio at >The Setai, and you too, could rocket to super rock stardom just like Mark Wahlburg (as Chris “Izzy” Cole) did with the heavy metal rock group, Steel Dragon, in the 2001 flick, Rock Star.

The slick 2,500 square foot, two-floor penthouse recording studio is the brainchild of sexy muscled, tattooed and pierced rocker Lenny Kravitz and his Kravitz Design studio. The decor fits in with The Setai's soothing Asian look (a far cry from college garage band, as well as the latest and greatest music geek gear for both analog and digital recording. And you (provided you got the dough) can have a chance to record here.

Back by popular demand, The Setai is offering American Idol wannabes a chance to clock 12 hours of studio time with reknowned Studio Director, Matt Knobel, with its Rock Star package. Guests are greeted at Miami International Airport with round-trip Range Rover transportation and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot. The three-night package includes accommodations in a one-bedroom suite with access to three temperature controlled pools (60˚, 70˚, 80˚), a dedicated beach concierge, and exclusive nightlife in The Courtyard.

So far, no real rockstars have booked the actual package, but our sources tell us that Timbaland, Mary J. Blige, Wyclef Jean, and Chris Cornell have all laid down tracks in The Studio.

The details: The Rock Star package is available for $6,000 plus taxes and is valid until October 31, 2009. Booking is subject to blackout dates and availability.
