When the Hotel Fouquet's Barrière opened up in Paris a couple of years back, we were already raving about the level of luxury there. Now the luxury factor is not just for people, but for furry canine friends as well — and even though we love our dog, this is really starting to sound like a bit too much.

The special pet services at Fouquet's Barrière include deluxe pet beds, special baskets, bowls and dishes, Vittel water ready when your pet arrives thirsty from the journey, and gourmet meals (maybe even accompanied by homemade pasta – yes, your dog could be eating better than you) plus some special toys for your dog's entertainment, too.

The rumor is that Parisians love their dogs, so we suppose this is all just part of the deal — because not only do they have everything your dog needs (and more), but they don't even charge you extra for it. This service does come with a warning though:

Be aware that pets may be extremely resistant to leaving after experiencing the fine life.

Your wallet might not be so resistant, with a basic room setting you back €589 in August – but at least you don't have to pay for someone to take care of your dog at home, right?
