We may not have given you enough time to guess the hotel this morning but one of you managed to guess correctly. It's The Hotel Indigo in San Diego.

This was our very first time inside a Hotel Indigo and we loved what we experienced. The hotel's lobby is bright and airy, and the rooms look more like a comfortable and happy guest room in a friend's house (a friend who has an exceptional knack for interior decor) rather than just another one of a couple hundred hotel rooms.

Staying true to the Hotel Indigo's commitment to nature (hence the Fibonacci sequence found throughout the hotel's design and the Phi ratio which is also represented throughout), this LEED-certified hotel has a 12th-floor rooftop garden, as well as an herb garden on the 9th floor that is actually used for the meals served at the hotel.

But what we really loved about the hotel — and no, it's not Dieter from Laguna Beach who oversees the front desk — were the great views of home plate at Petco Park from the hotel's 9th floor rooftop bar.

We'll have the full review for you tomorrow; until then, enjoy this video we shot on an iPhone — a first for HotelChatter Video Tours!
