San Diego's Rancho Bernardo Inn aims to spoil guests this summer with all-inclusive packages that will provide a “no surprises” getaways in these uncertain times.

And this is sort of the opposite of the Inn's last big gimmick: The "Survivor" package, which gave you a progressively lower room rate as you agreed to have necessities taken out of the room (it started at $219 with everything, down to $139 without pillows — all the way down to $19 without a bed, toiletries, linens, lights, A/C, etc).

On the other side of the spectrum, from July 31-September 13, the RBI’s “Spoil Me” packages start at $289 per person per night based on double occupancy (that means $578 total), and includes all amenities, resort fees and dining at the resort. Specifically, guests who book the deal will get:

· Overnight stay in deluxe accommodations
· All meals, including the option of dinner at El Bizcocho (the resort’s gourmet restaurant)
· All honor bar beverages and wine amenity
· Unlimited rounds of golf on the award-winning 18-hole course
· One signature spa treatment per person per day
· Tickets to local area attractions (Zoo, Wild Animal Park, etc.)
· All resort and parking fees
· On-property recreational facilities (we think that means the pool)

We did a little sleuthing on our own, and the best rate we could find on a room was $199 per night. That leaves $379 to spend on the extras, so you’d better stock up on all the spa services, gourmet dinners, golf rounds, and honor bar goodies you can in order to make the package worth it!
