The hotel believes that consumers, and especially travelers, are becoming more and more health-conscious about the way they eat, so Loews hopes to provide them with some antioxidant berry boosts to help them stay healthy while enjoying a San Diego bayside getaway.
Driscoll’s has been growing berries for over 100 years, and its partnership with the hotel is part of the Loews Coronado’s larger program of working with area farmers, fisherman and independent produce purveyors, as well as using herbs and veggies from its onsite organic garden.
Room rates for a Superior King Room at the resort, which sits on a private 15-acre peninsula, start at $319 per night.
