Summer Splurge: Weekday Indulgence Package at The Gansevoort

We're not sure if you've got five-hundo burning a hole in your pocket right now, but just in case you earned a bonus this month or made a fat chunk of change by selling you winter scarves and hats to a consignment store or something: The Hotel Gansevoort in NYC has put together a package for weekday-unwinders (which could, come to think of it, be another name for the unemployed if we're getting creative).

At a not-so-wallet-friendly (compared to swimming in a Brooklyn neighborhood pool with a couple cans o' PBR, anyway) rate of $495 for a Deluxe room or $695 for a Suite, you can get the Weekday Wind-Down Package Monday-Thursday on any day between June 1 and September 15 with:

· Deluxe room or Suite accommodations
· Bottle of Veuve Clicquot upon arrival
· Hotel Gansevoort Pool Bag that includes Evian water and misting spray, suntan lotion and one can of Red Bull Energy Drink
· Two reserved lounge chairs at the hotel’s rooftop pool
· Two poolside cocktails
· Lunch for two at Plunge, Hotel Gansevoort’s rooftop bar
· Full continental breakfast buffet at ONO (daily)

Sounds lovely and relaxing, no? Just a big splurge — so don't plan to sport a designer bikini or anything. Just enjoy every last drop of that expensive Veuve Clicquot.
