It's barely been two weeks since hotspot The Standard Grill finally opened to the public for dinner. Or did they? Reading the NY gossip columns along with the Twitter of The Standard's personality, Stan D'Arde, it seems as though only A-listers and the editors who love them have been chowing down under the High Line.

Take, for instance, last night's list of celeb spottings: Beyonce and Jay-Z, Vogue editrix Anna Wintour and daughter Bee Schaffer, Project Runway winner Christian Siriano, and a "major American fashion designer based in Paris," which we're guessing is Rick Owens. The Stan D'Arde twitter is now basically a running list of "blind items," hinting at what famous faces are playing ping-pong outside The Standard Grill every evening. It's like an issue of The Fashion Week Daily up in there!

Although the guests are impressive, New Yorkers luckily understand that everybody has got to eat, and celebs can't sit inside their multi-million dollar condos every evening. Therefore, we have no doubt that The Standard Grill's illustrious guests are flowing well with the regular patrons; if you're looking for a paparazzi scene, you're out of luck.

Although their Biergarten pictured above is still in its final stages, The Standard Grill has just opened for breakfast and will welcome brunchers this Saturday, with full-on lunch beginning Monday. Breakfast, when we get moving in the city in time to enjoy it, is our favorite meal of the day and so expect us to roll up into The Standard Grill soon. No pictures or autographs please; we're just trying to dine out like normal people.

And alright, we'll name some more names of recent Standard Grill diners: Elle creative director Joe Zee (who hit the Grill days before Wintour), Sandra Bernhard, designer Chris Benz, model Helena Christensen, NY nightlife icon Amy Sacco, Cameron Diaz, Julianne Moore, and even Jack Dorsey, the creator of Twitter. Soon: HotelChatter.
