“Pride in the City” at Kimpton’s The Muse Hotel comes with deluxe accommodations, a flight of red wines, a gay map of the city, and breakfast in bed for $259, or splurge with an extra $149 and get upgraded to a balcony suite and four special margaritas.
If you had any doubts about Kimpton’s motives, take a second to find out that the chain has gotten a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index — a measure of a company’s sensitivity to its employees rights and benefits conducted by the gay rights organization — for four years running now, and is also the first hotel chain to include all its 41 properties as members of the International Gay and Lesbian Trade Association. Now that’s something to be “proud” of!
