You know the scene. You open the door to your brand new hotel room, run over to the window, open the blinds and bam, you are hit with the anti-view. Maybe you are looking down a dirty alley, witnessing a drug deal, staring at an air shaft in the face, or seeing a brick wall. Whatever you are viewing it is not extremely pleasurable. Help out your fellow hotel mavens by uploading your anti-views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number with the not-so-easy-on-the-eyes view.

Yes, we loved the rooms at The Plaza and true, this view from room 1637 could be so much worse but still, it was strange to look out our window onto rows upon rows of office spaces.

We think the people in the offices have the better end of the stick here. What better way to take some time out of answering emails and writing TPS reports than by looking at The Plaza and possibly pants-less hotel guests?

No Fair!!

There are endless anti-views in NYC because so many  hotels face tall office buildings...

Pants-less Reflection

I think if you look carefully in the glass facade of the office building, you can see Juliana's pants-less (or is it pantless) reflection of her in the Plaza's window.

Maybe they WERE looking at you.

i did have pants on!

i can't even see that! but i am pretty sure i was wearing pants at that time. true, it was a rare occurrence that i was wearing pants in my hotel room.
