Solé East has mastered the ability to have that unique quality of being an "all play and no work" and an "all work and no play" destination thanks to their gift of free universal WiFi to guests.

The swanky, Euro-chic Montauk property has a strong wireless connection in the bungalow rooms and cabana suites, out by the heated pool, along the two rows of over-sized outdoor beds, in Backyard Restaurant — everywhere! Dare we say it: it's almost too much. We need to detach from the Mac. Yes, it is an amazing convenience, but after an 11am to 2pm outdoor work session we learned the hard way that laptop tan lines on the upper thighs are not a sexy look.

The whole combination of work and fun at Solé East is consistent throughout. From the outside, Solé East looks a bit like a row of high-end suburban medical offices, but inside they have achieved that lush, green otherworldly oasis feel; we'll call it "St. Tropez, Long Island." Since it is pretty easy to instantly unwind there, the next day we flipped over and got some nice color on our back while putting in a few working hours. And somehow while working on deadline, we fully accepted the DJ spinning club tunes as a non distraction during prime bronzing hours.

Rates range from $140.00 to $300.00 during the week and $170.00 to $450.00 per night on the weekends, so putting in overtime with work makes your stay an affordable luxury.
