Remember the old days of tailgating where even if your college (or favorite professional) sports team didn't win, you were still the proud winner of a terrible hangover and sometimes some incriminating photos of yourself doing keg-stands in a parking lot and — heaven forbid — maybe even some body paint was involved?

Yes, okay, well: The Doubletree in Philly is giving you a chance to win something other than those lovely things with the Philly Overnight Tailgating Package. So long as you act like a Phillies fan for a night, that is.

On July 6th, there is a Tailgate Like a Champion event that involves a Phillies Tent Party at Citizens Bank Park before the Phillies vs. Cincinatti Reds game at 7:00. If you hit that soiree and stay at the Philadelphia Doubletree with the Philly Overnight Hotel Package, you could win an "Ultimate Game Experience," which includes "a personalized authentic Phillies jersey, a private tour of Citizen’s Bank Park the next day, and getting a view of lifetime (at least for half an inning) in the Phillies broadcast booth during the Cincinnati Reds game on July 6th." Free parking is included in the Philly Overnight package, too.

The Doubletree Philly had some rooms recently renovated, and TripAdvisor reviewers have been saying generally positive things about the location and their stays — though the impression that we get is that it's pretty much your standard big-box-hotel in a big city.
