It's All About Twitter on Tuesdays With JDV Hotels

Yay! Another Twitter deal that should sort of convince you that you should probably be on Twitter with the rest of the modern world by now! Actually, this one has a cutesy name so we like it even more: Joie de Vivre Hotels — the Cali boutique hotel company with cutesy properties like the Good Hotel and the soon-to-re-open Hotel Maya — has launched Twitter Tuesdays and Facebook Fridays this week (and hey! It's Twitter Tuesday right now!) in conjunction with its "Summer California" celebration:

From June 2 through Aug. 28, Joie de Vivre will offer special hotel deals to Twitter followers every Tuesday and to Facebook fans each Friday. Each deeply discounted deal will be bookable for one hour only on www.summercalifornia.com.

This works just like it sounds: the Twitter offers will be posted on Tuesday and will be caught by Twitter followers; the Facebook offers will be posted on Friday for Facebook fans. The deals will be posted at different times each week, though — so you'll be around for some of 'em, at least. The Tweets and Facebook updates will each contain a promo code for eagle-eyed net-savvy you to go book on summercalifornia.com during a specified hour — and there will be 34 deals comin' at you this summer.

Oh! We almost forgot: The Twitter account to follow is @JDVHotels and you can become on Facebook fan here. Word on the street is you may be able to score rooms for as low as 50 bucks a night if you keep an eye out.
