Whoa. Okay, so let's get this out of the way first: apparently Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson — yes, the Twilight costars — hooked up the other night. X17 is reporting that their photogs caught the vampirey duo eating after the MTV Movie Awards (riveting, really) and then they booked themselves into a "private chateau" at a hotel — from which they emerged at noon looking a little bit frazzled and walk-of-shame-y. Now people are saying they're dating. Or hooking up, at least.

Regardless, what's important here is this: the hotel R-Patz and Kristen checked into was The Charlie, a luxe hotel made up of 14 bungalows in West Hollywood, which was once the site of Charlie Chaplin's house. Cool, right? How come we'd never heard about this place before?

The "Gloria" bungalow.

The Bungalows, named after Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable and other old Hollywood legends, are totally private and can be rented by the day or the month. The "Gloria" (shown above), for instance, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a terrace and will run you $9,000 — or in the ballpark of $600 per night (nightly rates are the monthly rates divided by the number of days in the month, times two). Smaller units like the "Dylan" — with one bedroom and one bathroom — go for $5,500 a month, somewhere around $365ish per night.

Check out all the different bungalows here; we don't blame you if you're a little bit jeally of Kristen because she got to stay here. Oh, and maybe you're jeally cause she hooked up with R-Patz. Meh!

I actually knew about this place when I was ten

I grew up there on the estates before it was what it is now. A bunch of singles and small families used to live in the cottages. The then owner, Bob Eilbacher died in a car accident and the property was then relinquished. It was a gorgeous place. I went a few years back to show some friends of mine where I grew up and instantly some big guy with a flashlight showed up and asked what we were doing there... I explained myself and we left. Its interesting to know now why we were immediately questioned.

His house is absolutely wonderful. No wonder why the celebrities are hook up there. If I don't mistake The room look almost like some rooms from Orlando hotels. I am not so sure, but I remember some details from my hotel room in Orlando.
