Hyatt Hotels Mega-Sale Can Be Used for Fourth of July Getaways

June 19, 2009 at 4:18 PM | by | Comment (1)

If you're looking to getaway this summer, look at a Hyatt Hotel. The chain is once again offering 20 percent (or more) off the daily rate at participating Hyatt hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia/Pacific and Latin America. And it includes the Park Hyatt and Andaz brands too. Only Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suites are not included.

Guests must book by September 3 for stays beginning July 3, 2009. Hello, Fourth of July getaway! Use LTO109 to book.

We found rooms available from July 3-5 at the Hyatt Olive 8 hotel in Seattle, which we checked out on a recent trip, and found rooms for both nights at $143 a night. The regular rate is $179. However, the rate is nonrefundable and full pre-payment is required. So make sure this is a trip you are going to actually take.

Discounts

Discounts, coupons and sales are a great way to shop and save money at the same time. It is a good thing that many businesses offer over 50 discounts for those who surpass a half century - in fact, over 50 discounts is what the AARP is all about. Those of us who are wiser in age and most learned scholars in the way of life are deserving of a break. There's also a host of websites, such as seniordiscounts.com, dedicated to helping those graying about the temples to free up some money with discounts, so they don't need a fast cash loan. Seniordiscounts.com has a nationwide database of senior discounts, and joining is cheap. A small membership fee to get a list of over 50 discounts for dirt cheap - you won't need a cash advance - it's worth it.
