We don’t like to play favorites, but will confess that we’re totally smitten with Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea. If you’re not down with love, it’s probably not the best destination for you. Heck, if you’re not down with love, maybe you should steer clear of Maui, period.

The island embraces a laid-back, anything-is-possible vibe, and the Four Seasons’ poshy posh resort simply oozes romance at every turn. Its line-up of services and amenities, like Oceanside couples’ massages in a thatched hale (a romantic outdoor retreat), poolside Otter Pop and fresh fruit kebab service, and the rock star steaks at DUO (hello, Japanese Bobe beef!), is like a big fat “O” that keeps delivering eyes-roll-back goodness. It’s really that good.

There are two brand spanking new amenities that have kept our tongues wagging:

ISUN
Making its big product debut at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, ISUN Bio-Active skincare products use only pure, energetic and alive ingredients; holistically combined through “Green” manufacturing and packaging to “bring about transformational radiance and a conscious connection with nature.”

Ajne – Rare & Precious
California parfumerie Ajne Rare and Precious creates sophisticated, intoxicating fragrance blends that meld with the body's chemistry. This treatment includes a scent analysis and prêt-à-porter fragrance consultation performed by the Spa’s own mélanger, an aromatherapy and blending expert. Starting at $250, it’s a spendy little activity, but if it’s good enough for Tori Spelling, it’s good enough for us. Demi-blending by appointment only.

One of the best in Hawaii...

The Four Seasons Maui is my choice for guests looking for luxury accommodations on Maui.  Sitting one of the best beaches of the island, the resort exudes Hawaiian elegance and tranquility.  The new adults-only pool overlooking the Pacific only adds to the appeal.  Perfect for my honeymoon guests.
