Bruce Willis Strips For The Standard New York
Although The Standard NYC had their first porny photoshoot over two months ago and the voyeur stories have already poured in, the hotel has curiously lacked any high fashion spreads.
Until now, with the newest issue of W Magazine and its uncomfortably-S&M-ish series of images of Bruce Willis and newest wife Emma in dramatic poses throughout the building. Called "Honeymoon Hotel," the glossy photoset includes some snaps taken in a plywood elevator hallway, like in the photo above, while other shots feature the Hudson-facing bathrooms inside the guestrooms, the emergency exit stairwell, and even the hotel's kitchen.
These photos of The Standard's rough spaces make us wonder how long ago they shot the feature, because we remember those plywood halls from way back last September during the Interview magazine party. We doubt it was that long ago, but no one wants to lay outside in a "lambskin bodysuit" during the winter.
Nonetheless, we think this spread gives us all what we've been waiting for: a portrait of The Standard as some sort of apocalyptic structure, where toplessness is the norm and crimes of avant-garde passion reign.
