A Parisian designer, Liaigre has put his mark on some of the world’s best-known hotels like the Mercer in New York and the Bora Bora Club Med, as well as the residences of the rich and famous, like Rupert Murdoch. The simplicity and elegance of his designs is evident in the mostly neutral tones accented by a dash of color here and there, as well as huge windows that link the indoor living rooms and bedrooms with the sprawling wooden decks where guests can laze away the day listening to the surf roll in.
The bi-level villas have private pools on the top level, while the main level contains a salon overlooking the ocean, a dining room, and a kitchen, as well as a wood-paneled library that converts into a fourth bedroom. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, so no sharing necessary.
Villas come with 24-hour dedicated butler service, and the possibility of private spa treatments and dining. The non-shut-ins will enjoy full access to the hotel’s beach, pool, and Le Restaurant des Pecheurs.
Are you a “mine, don’t touch!” billionaire? Each one of the villas can be exclusively yours for a mere $10 million. If that’s a little more spare change than you have at the moment, you can still get a villa for somewhere between $4,850-$20,785 per day depending on the season. So that’s what it costs to live like Rupert Murdoch? Huh.
