Kimpton Gets Patriotic with $17.76 Room Rates

Oh how hotels love doing room rate promos that coincide numerically with a special year. (See: Leading Hotels of the World’s $19.28 promo, Hawaii’s Nifty to be Fifty special.) And oh how we love booking those cheap room rates (LHW’s debacle, ahem, notwithstanding)!

For Kimpton’s part, they’re skipping the self-loving milestones for a more patriotic route: a special $17.76 rate available at 10 Washington DC Kimpton hotels in time for the Fourth of July. Travelers who stay Friday through Sunday nights in July score the third night for just $17.76.

Kimpton’s press release “invites travelers to ‘party like its 1776,’” though, frankly, we’re not sure our Founding Fathers would have really been down with leopard print bathrobes. But we digress! There’s no denying that our nation’s capital is one of the best spots to celebrate Independence Day, and Kimpton’s varied DC inventory certainly offers something for just about everyone.

The 1776 Sunday night promo is available at the following DC hotels when you book Friday and Saturday nights at full price: Topaz Hotel, with rates from $129; Hotel Helix, with rates from $129; Hotel Rouge, with rates from $139; Hotel Palomar, with rates from $149; Hotel Madera, with rates from $149; Hotel George, with rates from $199; and Hotel Monaco, with rates from $199. In Virginia, just outside DC: Hotel Palomar Arlington, with rates from $139; Lorien Hotel & Spa, with rates from $179; and Hotel Monaco Alexandria, with rates from $189.
