Continuing on the trail of weirdly exotic locations may just be Manchester, England, even if it completely lacks the "exotic" aspect. As rumored in Crain's Manchester Business, "Rezidor, a Swedish-owned hotel operator which is based in Brussels, may also look at Manchester as a possible location for its new five-star brand, Missoni,, a joint venture with the Italian fashion house of the same name."
Yes, Rosita Missoni, plug your ears; you're not supposed to hear that. Looks like having an Italian Missoni Hotel in Italy is a long, long way off.
