The resort opened back in 2006 and all of the studios and suites come with balconies or patios, plasma TVs and, that most elusive of amenities, in-room washer-dryers. Studios have kitchenettes and suites have full kitchens and jetted spa tubs adjacent to the bedroom.
The large outdoor pool area also has a spa tub and gas grills for some do-it-yourself dining, and guests can also access the underground Spa Terra at the neighboring Meritage Resort, which is Vino Bello’s sister property.
The one drawback is that the resort is located about four miles south of the town of Napa, which means that it can be a bit of a hike to the wineries farther up in the Valley, as well as a drive just to get to a decent dinner place. Considering how much rooms at similar hotels in the Valley itself go for (up to $400 in summer), though, this discount definitely makes the extra driving worth it.
