Located on the site of the Theatre de l’empire, the hotel is trumpeting its modern, sleek design above all else, seen before guests even step through the doors: the hotel's "signature wavy, all-glass exterior pays homage to the historic architecture on the Avenue Wagram" while still looking up-do-date and hinting at the funky design inside.
The 141-room hotel offers WiFi throughout (though not free) and "vibrant colors" (we see pink!) accenting the rooms, and you'll find VoIP telephones, HD LCD televisions, and digital connectivity panels in each guestroom as well.
Also in the hotel is Makassar Lounge & Restaurant, a new dining concept that "combines the exotic with the familiar, blending French Provence bistro flavors with authentic Indonesian dishes." The Makassar Lounge Bar the centerpiece has a glass counter "backlit with sketches from the worlds of fashion, theater and film," as well as a glass-encased wine cellar with by-the-glass regional wines and wines from Oceania.
Opening rates begin at €289 per night (around $385); check out the hotel's website here.
