Dream New York for $113 Through Quikbook's NYC Sale

Oooh. Quikbook launched another 72-hour hotel sale this morning (oh, we should mention they launched it first to their Twitter followers — so if you're not acclimated to the Twitterverse yet, perhaps this will help make a case) and we were mighty impressed with what we found for a couple of hotels in July.

First up: with this 72-hour sale, you'll get 25% off your rate (summer stays; late June through early September) if you book by Friday at 5:00 pm. Through that discount, we managed to find ourselves a room at the Dream Hotel in Midtown for $113 per night on July 5th. This is a hotel, mind you, that back in '06 we were psyched to find for under $250.

Elsewhere in Vikram Chatwal territory, the Stay.Hotel was going for that same night for a rate of $102 (the rooms there are teensy, but the Times Square location is pretty ideal for enthusiastic tourists).
