Will W South Beach Open On June 2nd?

The W South Beach is scheduled to finally — at long last — open its doors to the SoBe hip and trendies on June 2nd.
According to the hotel's website (as of this afternoon), that opening date still stands and things are all on schedule. And according to the Whatever/Whenever staffer who answered at the property when we called, June 2nd is still definitely gonna be go-time.
However! We heard a hot little rumor that the hotel won't be opening until June 16th now — and, curiously, when we went onto the website to verify, we got a "WHOOPS! This location does not have availability for the dates you selected" on all the dates we tried from June 2nd through the 16th. In fact, we got the same message for the nights of June 16th through 19th — we weren't able to see any available rooms until June 20th, where rooms are going for $332 and up.
Anyone know what's up here? Delay? Buggy reservation system? Dish the gossip.
Update [2009-5-4 16:26:53 by Jenna]: An inside source confirms that June 16th will be the new opening date. Any more info? Send it over.
