Wall-Street-er, Corporate Suit-y friends of ours, listen: we're certainly not suggesting that your integrity might need a bit of tweaking. But, um, maybe it does. It might. Sometimes we get a little carried away when we have our minds on our money and our money on our minds. It's okay.

So let's just say you are "an executive looking for a morale boost and a dose of ethical inspiration" (sounds a bit friendlier, right?). Author James Owen suggests you may be able to find said "ethical inspiration" by looking to cowboys — you know, the dudes who used to do business with handshakes and good faith — and, apparently, The Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort in Santa Ynez Valley, CA (Santa Barbara wine country) agrees: they've designed a "bootcamp" retreat to teach the "Code of the West" to anyone who needs a bit of an...integrity boost.

You can either book yourself into the October 19-22 bootcamp retreat for $1,500 per person (based on double occupancy), or corral some colleagues to book a minimum of 10 rooms and schedule your own bootcamp for $2,250 per person for single occupancy and $3000 per room for double occupancy.

The whole program includes:

· Studio accommodations for four days and three nights
· Welcome basket (includes book “Cowboy Ethics”)
· Welcome reception- Meet James Owen, “Cowboy Ethics” author
· Breakfast, lunch and dinner, including wine with dinner
· Private winemaker's dinner featuring Bill Foley, Foley Vineyards, named one of 15 Westerners to watch in 2009 by Amercian Cowboy magazine
· Three workshop sessions with James Owen
· Horseback ride or hayride to Historic Adobe for barbecue lunch
· Sunset reception and dinner at Alisal Lake with veteran actor, Rich Hoag, as Americas' most celebrated cowboy humorist, Will Rogers
· Turn down gift from James Owen and Alisal Ranch
· Free time for golf, tennis, lake activities or horseback riding
· Taxes and service charges

Rates start at $495 per night for a standard studio room if you just want to get a taste of the pampered cowboyish life without the boot camp. Perhaps a plain ol' vacay in Cali wine country could help up the ol' integrity level, too.
