The Four Seasons Los Angeles, which is actually on the border of Beverly Hills, is doing as its celebrity guests do by getting a nip and tuck...of its guest rooms.

The R.D. Olsen design team just announced that the hotel is in its second phase of a $30 million renovation of its 285 guest suites. The first phase transformed the hotel's bathrooms to include multicolor travertine tiles around the tubs, frameless shower doors and a fresh coat of paint.

This new phase will focus on everything else in the rooms. The hotel's existing pool will also be demolished and a new lap pool will be put in its place.

The hotel will remain open during the construction so be sure to check with the front desk about how close your room is to the current construction. With room rates starting at $345 a night, you should have a peaceful night's sleep. And perhaps they will do away with that Movie Star Maps sign in front too?
