Le Meridien is on an image-sprucing spree these days, with wacky décor, hotel renovations, and new properties. Lucky for you, they're doing something else: dishing up some killer room discounts at the four-diamond San Francisco property over Memorial Day — you know, in case you want another option for gettin' your Danny Tanner on.

Le Meridien San Francisco is offering the deal for Thursday-Sunday stays from May 22-June 7. Though the initial advertised rates for rooms started at $139, people have been snatching them up. Now we hear that you can still get a room May 22-23 for $159 per night, though that evens out a little bit with the $119 you'll pay to stay on May 24. The $139 rate still seems to be holding out on the other travel dates, and is over a 50% discount from the average rate of $325 you'd normally pay to here. Nice.

The hotel is close to the major must-sees downtown, like Union Square, the Ferry Building and the Embarcadero, so it makes for a good home base in the city by the bay.
